Restricted items and goods on flights
Below is a listing and description of items and goods not allowed on JS Aviation flights. Please familiarize yourself with this information before your flight.
RESTRICTED PASSENGER ITEMS
JS Aviation requires all passengers to declare any items that may be restricted due to their potential dangerous nature to establish if these can be carried on board the aircraft. The most common are listed below and additional information with further details is available from the crew. Please consult the crew if you have any doubts about items you may be carrying.
For handling special items such as rescue gear, avalanche packs, refrigerated goods, instruments, tools, medical specimens, hunting or sporting weapons and any accessories thereto, always consult the crew.
ITEMS NOT ALLOWED IN HAND BAGGAGE
Large separate lithium ion batteries (consult crew for details)
Electronic mobility aids, such as e-scooters (unless batteries can be made safe, consult crew)
Cigarette lighter or matches (one may be carried on person for personal use in a designated area)
Internal combustion engines or fuel cell engines (consult crew for possible checked baggage)
Firearms or ammunition of any kind
ITEMS NOT ALLOWED IN CHECKED BAGGAGE
Lithium ion batteries
Battery-powered portable electronic smoking devices such as e-cigarettes
Fuel cells containing fuel
More than one small mercury thermometer (if one is carried, must be in its protective case)
ITEMS NOT ALLOWED IN CHECKED BAGGAGE OR HAND BAGGAGE
Over 5 liters of strong alcohol products (consult crew)
Aerosol cans (including toiletry articles) of over 0,5l or 0,5kg or a total of over 2l or 2kg
Dangerous goods as listed in the dangerous goods leaflet (consult crew for details)
Personal medical devices that use liquid oxygen
Electroshock weapons, eg. tasers
Strike anywhere matches
Lighter fuel, lighter refills, premixing burner lighters, battery powered lighters without safety caps
DANGEROUS GOODS ARE FORBIDDEN ON JS AVIATION AIRCRAFT
The following goods are classified as dangerous goods and cannot be carried on board JS Aviation aircraft. You must ensure that such goods are not present in baggage, hand baggage or on your person before flight. If in doubt, ask a crew member for assistance.
