Connecting flights Joensuu-Kuopio-Joensuu

JS Aviation offers  connecting flights between Joensuu and Kuopio airports. Our goal is to offer customers a quick access to Kuopio Airport, from where Finnair operates flights to Helsinki and other destinations in its network. The connection, like other modes of transport, acts as the customer's own connection to the airport. The customer is responsible for any further connections and related obligations. JS Aviation's service is not connected to Finnair or flights operated by Finnair. We also offer a return connection from Kuopio Airport to Joensuu.

JS Aviation's connecting flight from Joensuu to Kuopio departs from customers  approximately one hour before the departure time of a Finnair flight departing from Kuopio and arriving in Kuopio about half  before the departure time of a Finnair flight departing from Kuopio.

Only hand luggage (max 8kg) is taken on our connecting flights, which enables a quick transfer to the plane both in Joensuu and on a Finnair flight in Kuopio. The security check is performed at Joensuu Airport, so a passenger who has checked in for his or her own Finnair flight in advance, for example with the Finnair mobile application, can go directly to the departure gate of Finnair's flight in Kuopio after arriving from our connecting flight.

Flights from Kuopio are based on the departure time according to customers' reservations  so that the scheduled departure time of the connecting flight  It is to Joensuu  30 minutes after the landing of a Finnair flight.

​

The flight time between Joensuu and Kuopio is about 30 minutes. You must be at the airport no later than 15 minutes before departure.

Flights will be flown on JS Aviation's own Chieftain fleet. Chieftain is very suitable for short and medium connections and offers passengers a fast and uncomplicated connection to Kuopio.
